Hawthorne Bottle Shoppe is a neighborhood market on Central Avenue in the Grand Central district of St. Petersburg.

There are a number of spots specializing in craft beer on tap and in bottles and cans. While they’re not brewing their own craft beer, these places serve up some of the best craft brew on hand. Grab a friend or three and find your new favorite from this list.

Tarpon Tavern, Tarpon Springs

Beloved by locals, this old-world pub serves up burgers and other American eats along with some of the coldest drafts in town. The Tarpon Tavern is located right off the Pinellas Trail and offers 30 beers on tap featuring some of the best local, national and international craft breweries. 

VIBE: Upscale English style pub with an outdoor cobblestone patio and turn-of-the-century but modern bar and dining area.

Its motto says it all: no crap on tap. Willard's Tap House takes their craft beer seriously, but not themselves. The selection of more than 20 beers on tap is deep and well thought out, and the customers are as knowledgeable as the staff, with plenty of local and Florida offerings.
